Descripció i   Metodologia:   This is a training course designed to work through emotional education with new approaches and teaching strategies such as gamification or personalized videos used in flipped classrooms. How can I emotionally engage students using games in the English class? How can we emotionally help our students to foster English oral and written competences through art and music? Is Clil an efficient approach to cater students’ emotions? How can I give useful feedback to my students? These are some of the questions that we would try to answer in this course. By sharing our expertise and experimenting with hands-on practice different tools and strategies, we will try to devise learning environments for 21st century learners.
  
Objectius   1. To update scientific-pedagogical knowledge and learn about neuroscience in ELT teaching and learning while reflecting on globalized approaches and methodologies (CLIL).
2. To provide teachers with materials and resources to help them to maintain their emotional health.
3. To design a final portfolio including all the artistic results of each module.
4. To foster collaborative work among teachers in the forum.
  
Continguts   MODULE 1: “How are you feeling?”
In this module we will reflect on our feelings and the feelings our students have through an introduction of Neuroscience by the hand of David Bueno.

MODULE 2: “Let’s CLIL into the wonderful world of art”
In this module, we will introduce what CLIL is all about and the importance of scaffolding and language support in a clil methodology and... What a better way to emotionally CLIL through art and music!
”Music and Art can help us emotionally boost confidence and make us feel more engaged and resilient”

MODULE 3: “Empathy makes us feel good”
In this module, we will see how sometimes we need to fill our bucket with good actions for the others, while other times we just need to simply throw bad emotions away. How are we going to do this? Through a warm-up storytelling, we will start by encouraging participants to share stories about empathy. Later on, they will create their own story-telling with canvas.

MODULE 4: “We are all different”
In this module, we will tackle diversity through short films from Kieran Donaghy. Participants will be asked to analyse one of his stories. Finally, we will have a poll to decide on the best one.

MODULE 5: “Gamification for learning through emotional art”
In this module we will breakout our minds and discover how gamification can help our students get involved in the ESL. Art can help you escape from suffering.

MODULE 6: “My emotional Portfolio”
In this module participants will be asked to hand in a short final reflection on the activities they have accomplished during the different modules and the experiences proposed.

Your portfolio must have:
-Neuroscience: “How do you greet your students with love”.
-My song. What song makes you feel good?
-Emotional hut
-Popplet Labyrinth. How do you deal with emotions in the classroom?
-Empathy story. Add your story. “Art and Tech”
-Diversity: your proposal.
-Breakout your emotions through Art and music!

*Don’t forget to add all the language support required to achieve the final product!

Avaluació   - Positive attainment of the course activities: classroom management strategies shared with the group, according to emotions through art and music, dealing with a CLIL methodology. To be able to design a brief portfolio using the different apps. The participation in the forums.

Persones  destinatàries   Primary teachers with a B2 minimum.
Requisits:
1. Disposar d'usuari XTEC actiu.
2. Haver certificat les activitats de formació adjudicades durant aquest curs acadèmic i l'anterior.
Criteris específics d’adjudicació. Les sol•licituds admeses s'ordenaran en funció de:
1.Vinculació al centre de treball 2.1.Funcionari 2.2.Interí 2.3. Substitut
2.Nivell de llengua C2,C1,B2.
Si ets docent d'un centre concertat, municipal o les acreditacions d’especialitat i/o nivell de llengua (C2, C1 o B2) requerides a la convocatòria no consten a l’ATRI, caldrà omplir aquest FORMULARI dins del període de sol•licitud.
